My favorite person to go to here at Quizhpe's is always Denice because she flawlessly does my eyebrows and cuts my hair every single time. Unlike the other ladies who will try and tell you (and insist) that you should get something you dont really want. Denice always listens and may suggest a style if you want her to, but wont push anything youre not going for. You cant beat the price of $10 or $12 for a haircut if you have long thick hair (like I do) My husband also goes to Denice and she leaves him looking really fresh with a great cut and beard shave. Shes gentle enough that she never knicks him like other barber shops do. Thanks Denice!

This is the first $5 haircut shop when I enter W.Lawrence Ave. from Broadway St. All I need is a simple haircut, no fancy, no perm or any kind. They speak Spanish all the time with each other, but most of them understand and speak English pretty well. I expect these affordable community / neighborhood haircut Salon will be more and more since you go west through W. Lawrence Ave. there are bunches of them. Tip them well after the cut is done.

In my neighborhood there are no less than 5 $5 haircut joints within six blocks walking distance. My usual Wendy's and Vanessa's was packed almost out the door today, so I decided to dice roll Quizhpe's to get my hair did before my friend's wedding party tonight. I dropped in and saw about three people waiting in line, but apparently they were waiting for people getting haircuts so I was seated immediately on a Friday at 5:30pm. Sat down, the lady popped some stuffing on my collar so hair would not drop in then put a towel on my shoulders. #1 fade with scissor cut on top, please!
