Charles Schwab

dealing with schwabb is such a headache. I constantly get passed around to different departments for simple issues and this seems to be an issue for many people. closing my account and paying penalty and taxes instead of rolling over because I'm tired of getting passed around to different department. both sides of charles schwabb just keep transferring me back to the other with the same excuse of "I don't have access to that information it's on the other side of schwabb" the only easy part about this company is giving thenm money.

Do Not Do Business with this company!!!! I recently opened a checking account with them and this experience has been a total nightmare!! My account was approved and I proceeded to deposit a check in the amount of $2,500. A few days later I recieved my debit card in the mail. I activated it the same day then proceeded to login to my account only to find my account was locked. It gave me a number to call, so I called immediately. I was told I needed too send them a notorized copy of my ID as well as a written statement staing I am the person who opened the account. Trying to close out my account but this company makes it difficult to do anything without account number. Gave my social security number and address to find my account number. Even spoke to a representative via email and still couldn't get the account number. Ryan was able to find my account and tell me my balance, but want helpful enough to give me the account number to close the account. I emailed him again and he didn't respond. How unprofessional.
