I want to preface this by saying I am a naturally awkward and quiet person! As soon as i walked into Maurice's shop I felt so comfortable, and within minutes I could not stop talking! ? He is very attentive and listens to you very well, he is so sweet and I love everything he advocates for! There's no judgement from him at all and it is truly a safe space for everyone. Not to mention he made my hair look so much better! I wish I could give 10 stars!! Thank you so much for making my hair more beautiful!

My name is Betty Cooper and I wrote a review earlier about this shop. Look for my name, and read what I posted. Well I got a response from Maurice the owner of Transformations and I so appreciated his words. See, my emotions are all over the place, after losing my son recently. I will confess it was probably a better way to response to his response, but you see I am 71 yrs old and there is a limit to what I can do in this tech world. Maurice is the best stylist in town as far as I am concerned. I have gone to him for 11 or 12 years and before I met him I had no idea how much natural curl I had in my hair. He has taught me how to take care of it and know how to cut curly hair so you don’t end up looking crazy lol. He really gets to know his clients and knows what they will like and what they won’t and will always be honest with you about what results you can expect from doing something (like ok you brought me a pic of Julia Robert’s hair but you don’t have the same facial structure as her so it won’t look exactly the same) he just is truly the best.
