“A patron of wax & lazer hair removal services since 2012 - still have to wax for maintenance due to hormonal changes. Even started self-waxing in 2016. Based on Yelp reviews, I went to Kathy. Since Valentines 2021 -- now over a year she's the only professional I go to for waxing and recommend to all my female compadres. - Affordable prices, half price than other salons and quick, efficient & comfortable experience for my usual 10 minute session total in and out for a braz wax. - Communication by text gets back to you within the hour for appointments on a working day (Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat) sometimes even on days off... - Schedule 1-2weeks advance because she books fast and usually full on Sat with no wait list. (She's closed Sun, Mon, Wed) as of Aug 2022. - Service is clean and strict on time since a full braz wax session you can be in and out in 10 minute tops... I'm in, bottoms off, laying down, she comes in, we talk two sentences & already I'm bare and getting dressed, pay cash and go so she can start next appt... I make appts via text but you can make appts there if there is time before her next appt. She's quick, efficient & friendly convo. Down to earth and fun to talk about culture, food, music, etc. - Location is a curb side store front, can't miss. - Parking options infront are 4 street meters or the adjacent street has parking on both sides by the gas station.“

“If there's anything I can say, it's don't be a bad customer like me!! I literally called this morning asking if they had any openings for today. Instead of being rude about it, they said they could take me at 1:30 pm! And even though I brushed my hair before I got there, the wind made it tangled again. (So sorry to Aimee who had a lot of patience to brush it.) But despite all of this mayhem that I put them through, they were so nice to me and combed out my hair and cut my hair just how I requested it (V-cut with layers). I think I'll come back in the future considering that their haircuts are relatively less expensive than other salons I've gone to (here was $55 including hairwash, other places are $75+ not including a hairwash). Again, she was so nice to me despite how unorganized I was! Thank you Aimee!“

She stays focused on you and your hair for the entire time. She will listen to what you envision and then like any good professional will give you her suggestions. Another plus is that her schedule is very flexible. She understands that life interferes even with the best intentions on appointment times and is willing to change appointment times when needed without penalty. “This is my second time going to Every Piece Salon and I am even happier the second time around. I am notorious for letting my hair grow out too long giving the stylist an extra challenging puzzle in transforming my hair. Marissa did an absolutely amazing job and did exactly what I asked for. She was also very pleasant in her chair side manner. I don’t enjoy too much small talk and she went right to work - gentle but efficient. I was in and out in 3.5 hours. She was also very quirky and funny which made the time more entertaining. Thank you so much! I won’t be going anywhere else. Five stars all around!“

“I have no reason to write this. Habib is in such demand, he doesn't need good reviews to keep him afloat. But having bumped into other hairdressers and encountering their tactics, I feel compelled to write about why I like Habib. Habib is an artist. He recognizes the state and shape of your hair and the state and shape of you. He has nuance when he cuts hair and doesn't try to force down a client's throat generic templates of what is "in" or what the industry is dictating looks good. I never feel belittled by his style sense or the choices I make regarding personal style or even products. Don't get me wrong -- Habib is always current. He knows what techniques and looks are the industry standard. He indeed is responsible with his craft. But he knows how to help his clients rise rather than hamstringing them into a dependency on him specifically or his product offerings. Habib is never heavy-handed about how often to get services from him, and he doesn't push products or create product dependency. The irony is that it is just that trait that causes my dependency on him specifically. I cannot say enough great things about him as a person, as an artist and the work he does. I just hope he cuts hair for the rest of my life!“

It was my first haircut on the island and I’m sure it will probably be my go-to from here. My stylist was Roges and he was so charismatic, skilled, well versed in hair and super knowledgeable. “The first time I came in here I was recommended by my WFG partner Shann and only got a haircut. Later on, I saw another boy getting his hair braided and I wanted something different, besides the basic 'upside-down' bowl cut. Soon I was looking fabulous with amazing highlights on my curls. She gave me a referral to one of her girlfriends to have my eyebrows darkened and now I look spectacular! The local aunties here might wink at me and say I'm 'makamaka'! “I was SO impressed not only with the hair and makeup talent I (and my mom) received for my wedding, but also with the kindness and care from our stylist. Our stylist was calm and confident, answering all of our questions on-site and via email, making sure we were comfortable with the services, and giving us some breaks along the way. As a destination bride, I had so many people ask if I was nervous about not having a trial for hair or makeup, but I felt fully confident thanks to all of our conversations before the wedding. Our session never felt awkward and it was so nice to have a down to earth person sharing such intimate moments with us before the wedding. Definitely recommend for bridal hair and makeup!!“

“All I gotta say is, believe the hype. My hair has gotten wavier/curlier the older I get, so I was searching for a stylist who specializes in curly/wavy cuts. Hillary is the real deal and gave me the best cut I've probably ever had. No thinning out my hair, no razoring (hallelujah).Awesome consultation, technique and execution - she has mad skills and experience! The real test of a good cut is if it looks good when you style it yourself (just gel and diffuser in the pic) and it still looks just as good as when I was fresh out of the studio.“

“I started going to Janice's and the original business owner, Janice, decades ago. She was very good and popular so busy and I had to wait long. Started having Darla cut my hair and she is just as awesome, or even better. I had to stop going to her because I moved and couldn't afford it. Prices are comparable to other salons but "I" couldn't afford it as a single parent. I now go to her every few months to pamper myself and get a really good hair cut. She is friendly, ethical, and grounded, while also being talented in her craft. She considers my hair type, shape of face, my personality and schedule, when recommending a hair cut and style. I love how she structures my hair. Don't know what she does but it's awesome! I always leave the salon feeling nicely cleaned up and pampered. I saw in the business profile that credit cards are accepted, but I go to Darla only. She takes cash or checks, no plastic.“
