Just FYI, during our consultation Alan stated that he is not interested in customers for tax assistance for one year. That was an immediate turnoff. Who's to say I wouldn't have gone back to him year after year? I was not impressed.

My past experience w/this business was great, however, more recently the communication has been inconsistent and lacked any consultative approach. The intake process/application is quite lengthy. I wish that more was done over the phone, as I didn't know how to address every question.

I have never gone to a professional before to get my taxes done but had a situation I was not sure about with my sister coming to our home to stay and they set up a consultation right away and answered all of my questions. That in itself would have justified at least a 3-star review but then he was personable, and acted like my questions mattered to him. Then, he didn't even charge for the consultation. He seriously seemed like he was interested in helping out and not just making a quick buck on someone unfamiliar with taxes. I would highly recommend this company.
