This place was recommended to me by a friend, and I must say that Kathy Cole under sold The Salty Barber. She was quick, professional, and the cut was great. My barber was great to speak with and out me at ease immediately. Highly recommend her and this barber shop to anyone looking for a solid haircut from a talented barber who had the skills. 10 out of 10.

At 50, I’ve had a few decent cuts over the years & I’ve had some of the worst you could imagine. I’ve learned that it takes a skilled barber who specializes in men’s hair to be able to know what styles work (and what does not) and especially what it takes to fade correctly. This level of expertise is exactly what you’ll find at the Salty Barber. This cool little shop tucked into the foothills of the North Georgia mountains is a vibe. You’ll be hard pressed to find another barber in Ellijay or any of the surrounding areas as skilled as Tammy. Great place VERY friendly and welcoming. Did a good job on my high and tight haircut. However I don't think that I articulated exactly what Iwanted so it turned out a little more hipster aposed to military which again I believe was probably my fault. I will return and suggest that if you are in east Tennessee you give them a shot
