A combat wounded vet, I will always be grateful for Dr. Snook, he helped save my life.In 2002, I lost both of my kidneys, complete Stage 4 Renal Disease. My boss asked that I speak to a mental health professional bc loosing a major organ can do damage to your MH. I sat with Dr. Snook, long story short, he explained what was taking place. He said, Paul, you were driving a tricycle most of your life, pulling the weight of Vietnam behind you. When your kidneys failed, you could not work, your tricycle stopped and that load your carried caught up with you. The loss of your kidneys was like loosing a buddy in war. You have Chronic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I went to the VA, they pulled my Military Medical Records and the rest is history. Within 9 months, the VA said I could never work again in my life. They were gonna take care of me and my family. I was on only 52 years old, loved my job, a Color Specialist for Sun Chemical Corp. My life changed for the better. I decided to advocate for our Veterans. I volunteered at Ft McPherson for 8 years assisting the needs of my COMRADES. I retired last year to spend more time with my family. The shop owner was really nice and very efficient when braiding hair. I've gone here twice and felt very satisfied with my styles. Would recommend to others who want to have the hair included, which she does. However if you want your own specific color that she may not have, you will have to bring your own.Service: Braids

It was my first time visiting this salon while looking for a good silk press. I was able to get in the same day which was a plus for me. The salon was clean and spacious and everyone was nice and welcoming. Ms Barbara did my hair and completely transformed it from my dull, lifeless natural hair to a pretty and smooth press. I love it and plan to keep wearing my natural hair and will come back in 2 weeks
Absolutely LOVE this place been going here since I was about 13 im now 18 always been my #1 go to place!! Their prices are not crazy out the roof and they are very understanding they’re so straight to the point. The only thing I would say is come with your hair already washed, blow dried and detangled because they could be a little careless of the pain when combing if hair is nappy but other then that I’ve never had bad experience here ! Definitely recommend .
Tandriya and Ms. Tiffany are amazing. I met Tandriya about 15 years ago as she was my oldest daughter's hairstylist. Her quality of work then was excellent, and she is still extending the same quality of work with my youngest daughter. Tiffany is also a great stylist, and when Tandriya is unavailable, she takes care of my daughter's hair care needs.
Once you get to know these ladies you will find that they all are good at braiding. I am pleased with my hair at every visit. The one thing that I would tell anyone getting their hair braided be very specific upfront on anything you don't like or want to change. Examples include if the braid is tight or not sized appropriately.. If you communicate your wishes upfront you will be pleased every time.

I visited this shop as a walk in during a holiday visit to the A. Joel is the only barber that made eye contact and the only one that asked if he could help me. He was not only a gentleman but a great barber. The barbers that finished with their clients and moved to another chair to play on their phones could use a lesson or two in customer service and perhaps professionalism. Joel, thank you for doing a great job and being an example for great customer service.

Baby when i tell you i had a great experience. I didn’t have to pay a deposit or pay extra if i was late. But soon as i walked in i was greeted and also straight in the chair and had two women on my head at once. I only was in the chair for 5 hours and I have thick hair i never had been in chair for 5 hours with knotless long braids ever. I will definitely go back. i’ll give it 10/10.Services: Braids

I needed someone SAME DAY. I booked at 2 p.m. and they were at my place by 5. It was perfect! The setup process was fairly easy (had issues with the payment method through cash app/PayPal) but it ended up working. Bryan was very patient and helpful over the phone throughout the process and each addition time I needed to call back. I have to admit, I didn’t realize this was a contracted out kind of thing, so I was shocked to see someone arrive with no uniform and in their personal vehicle. However, after talking with the technician I understood this is a “we find you a local tech” kind of thing! Which I thought was cool. Lemuel was my electrician and he was wonderful. He was patient when I was skeptical at his first arrival and even offered for me to hold his wallet while he worked (which I chose not to). He explained the whole process of what needed fixed and why, and even went to get the part. Great experience and will use again!

Unlike most cleaners who operate strictly during business hours, Shon and her crew showcased outstanding flexibility, beginning their services after standard working hours. Throughout the process, Shon remained extremely accessible, ensuring I was kept in the loop at all times. Their meticulous attention to detail was evident as they thoroughly cleaned every nook and cranny — from the kitchen and bathrooms to countertops, flooring, and even the rooftop deck and garage. In an impressive display of dedication, Shon personally went above and beyond, making a trip to Home Depot to fetch the right supplies to clean my two grills. This was my first time coming to The Wellness Spot and they truly live up to their name. Upon entering, we were greeted by the owner, Vivian, and made to feel "welcomed." She took us on a tour of his beautiful hidden gem and you could genuinely feel the warmth and spiritual wellness that embodied the spa. After speaking with Vivian, it was clear that this was not a "job" for her but a vision and clear desire to really focus on wellness from every aspect. I truly felt the heart and soul that has been poured into this spa and it spills over unto the staff. I had a massage done by Anton and again, the nice quietness and attention to detail were not missed here. I thoroughly had one of the best massage experiences ever! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my training sessions with Andrew. His knowledge of fitness and health has been extremely helpful during our sessions. Our sessions go beyond the average workout and focus on a fully rounded experience that includes physical/ mental health, and pre/post workout preparation. His sessions are grounded in communication and respect. He’s created a safe space where I feel comfortable communicating any concerns I have. He also listens to those concerns and adjust our sessions accordingly as needed. He does a great job tailoring our sessions specific to my body, mental health, and any specific needs that I have.
