Piedmont QuickCare at Walgreens - Brookhaven

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I advise you to never go to the Piedmont QuickCare in sandy springs. Barbara the nurse practitioner I saw was useless. She didn't wear gloves or a mask while doing my strep test. She spent maybe 10 minutes with me and then proceeded to say nothing was wrong. I still felt horrible and ended up having to go somewhere else to get the antibiotics I desperately needed. They never called me back. In addition, Barbara also made a highly inappropriate sexual remark while doing my strep test that made me very uncomfortable. She is horrible and should consider a different career.

Provider was good and thorough, however the pricing structure and billing process is an absolute scam. I went in for a strep test and was in/out in less than 15 minutes. They simply took my insurance information and did not explain or offer any pricing information to me up front. Fast forward 60 days and I received a bill of $426!!! This was discounted by $177 due to my insurance, with a balance due of $249 for a simple 15 min strep test. This is the same strep test that Piedmont shows is $17 on their website. Horrible experience. Doctor is completely incompetent. Honestly don’t know how she made it through all the years of medical education. Simple questions could not be answered. Highly not recommended. Please close this location and take the license away from the doctor that is working in there.
