A friend recommended Dr. Van Wie and I scheduled my visit before seeing these reviews. I’m not sure why they are so low, I had a great experience with the front desk, the medical assistants and the Dr. Very little wait, the waiting area had 3-5 people at most, and overall a very calm environment. The medical staff was incredibly caring.
The front desk was very nice and Melanie is wonderful and very responsive; there was a snag with my medication and she had the issue corrected quickly. Elaine and Jennifer were incredibly kind and reassuring during my eye procedures. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Kim.
This place reminds me of the Seinfeld bit on reservations. They know how to take the reservation, but they don't know how to keep it. Both my wife and I have been knocked off their schedule. It's annoying and discouraging.
