My husband was looking for a new place so I sent him here and he’s VERY happy he tried it. Jen is knowledgeable, familiar with trends, and is helping him transition from his previous hair style to a new one. If you’re looking for an authentic barber shop we recommend you try this place, you won’t be disappointed! They also offer additional services like hot shaves & facials:)

I have had JR as my barber for over two years now. He consistently goes out of his way to make my experience the best part of my day. Beyond showing expertise in his field, and showing attention to detail in cleanliness, he has gone out his way to understand me as client. As someone who can say I can be particular about how I like my hair cut, I can confidently say JR pays attention to every detail and executes with confidence. Ontop of JR being a great barber, the entire space is always clean and visually pleasing. I'm happy to say I get my hair cut at Max's.

I highly recommend anyone to come here and book a appointment with JR! He is beyond professional, expert at his craft and pays super close attention to the details. I’m going to look awesome on my wedding day because of him! In the past, my family didn’t like me having a comb over haircut, that is only because I have never had an amazing comb over like this before! My father even said to me “Wow! I didn’t recognize my own son, you look like a man again”! Haha! They all loved it! Best haircut I have ever had! Thank you again JR, really the best!

Joanna studied in Canada and also in the United States where she now continues a lifelong passion for making men look great. Joanna dedicated her love for the business to her father Michal who was a barber for sixty-five years. He taught her the trade and the wisdom to keep smiling. Joanna and her team of professionals have brought back the traditional Hot Shave as a modern concept and continue to introduce new and innovative skincare routines such as HydraFacial™ treatments for men.
