My name is Diana O'Donnell ,former owner of Hair Nails & Beyond Day Spa and Salon In Hampton Bays Long Island. I had to change my N.Y license to Florida license. To do that you have to take a test. The test is difficult and stressful the laws are different many new rules. Not to mentionion I haven't taken a test in many years. Before I moved to Florida I called all of the cosmetology schools in the state . When I called Puttin on The Tips Ocala Vickie ( the owner ) answered the phone . So, just like with anything, you get what you put in with this school. If you are here, and doing your services, you can graduate with your certificate easily! It is a very hands on school and you are expected to do the studying/bookwork on your own time. I love that the hours are very flexible, which makes it perfect for the parent or working adult that is looking for a career change. Though the school has recently had a few changes in instructors, Christine is a wonderful addition to the school and has a passion for sharing her love of all things cosmetology with us.
