First State is like flying First Class - you really are a VIP here. I started coming to First State Health and Wellness on Union Street during the height of Covid-19 in Summer of 2020. My business of 16 years had tanked and I enrolled in a rapid workforce development course. The hours I spent sitting at the computer and the extensive amount handwritten assignments took a toll on my neck, back and shoulders. I woke up in the middle of the night to excruciating pain - I couldn't even turn my head. Thankfully I found First State. Ok, can I just say I'm hugely afraid of needles. But, Dr Doug and his Accupuncture techniques are the best! And, try the Ear Accupressure with leave in Swarkoski (hope I spelled that right) Crystals!!!! Fashionable & functional...

I absolutely loved all the staff at First State Health and Wellness! They are compassionate care providers who care to help their patients in every way possible. When you walk into the office, you are greeted with kindness and they have a great way of making you feel comfortable. The atmosphere in this office is so friendly and personal that the professionalism is just the icing on the cake.
