I moved back to New England and was searching for a barber that could give me exactly what I wanted and oh man did I find it at Ventura barbershop. I walked in a year ago and talked with Michael he was extremely excited to give me the cut that I wanted. I was blown back when he turned the chair and saw what he did with my hair. It was absolutely perfect! The atmosphere is clean, professional and extremely friendly. Whenever anyone asked me where to get their haircut like mine, I point them in the direction of Ventura barbershop. Can't recommend them more.

Mr. Ventura cut my hair himself and let me just say. I was absolutely nervous going in, as I was having second thoughts about going to a barbershop for a women's haircut. An absolutely nervous wreck as I've had such bad luck with an actual salon in the recent past. Let me just say homie is definitely talented to get it so even while in its natural state. I absolutely did not want to have my curly textured hair straightened to be cut. I know how hard it is to do that alone so I'll definitely be back when my hair grows out a bit to get some weave! ?

Not your run of the mill barbershop, you feel like you're with friends. Ventura Barbershop is operated professionally and with full focus and respect to their clients. Owners always go out of their way to greet you. I've been getting my cuts from John M for the past 10 years and I have no plan to change that. I can show him a vague picture of what I'm looking for and he knocks it out of the park every time. I always look forward to the visit.
