Peter has been cutting and coloring my hair for almost 20 years. I came to him when I had new babies and was feeling blah... another salon had made me feel feel (and look) boring and I was pretty down. Peter was kind, understanding and patient - no fuss, no muss - and I walked out feeling great. He doesn't push when I want the same style for a while, but as soon as I'm ready for a change he brings some great ideas. Peter is an excellent cutter. There is also a great vibe amongst Peter, Liz and their staff and everyone feels welcome. Highly recommended!

I've been going to the same place in NYC for 30 years. But with the pandemic things have changed. From mid February, I lasted until July until I was forced to find a new spot. So after a careful search I decided to give Trendsetters a try. I called the shop and they scheduled me with Peter. The shop is clean, very safe, taking all the precautions, and I felt completely at ease. Peter took his time, listened my story about my previous shop, looked at pictures of my normal hair, and ultimately gave me a fine haircut. I've now been back 3 times. The people are all so nice. I love this salon! Suzette has transformed my hair from post-partial average to amazing blonde highlights and more. Her blowouts make me feel like a new woman. I love the friendly atmosphere here where owners Peter and Liz make me feel at home, always offering me a cup of coffee and a smile. Suzette does makeup for me for my events and she is the best! I'm so sad I'm moving and wish I could move this salon to my new state. Five stars for sure.
