The BEST emergency vet on this side of CT! My dog, Erinie, was in extremely grave condition (on a Sunday morning), they had me come right in, they knew exactly what to do, did it, and did it well. Erinie is now well on the mend!
The cost was about half of what I expected for a two night stay. If a reason ever arises, I will go back. A HUGE thank you to all the friendly staff! And to the tech who took initial care of him, sorry about your shoes.
After getting a $1500 estimate to neuter each of my Yorkies from VCA in Cromwell (that is not a typo, $3000 for both to be neutered) we started looking for a new vet. Colechester Veterinary Hospital is absolutely amazing.
First of all, you text them when you arrive and they come to your car to get you and your pet so you are not waiting with a bunch of sick pets that only excite yours.
The place is clean!!!! Even the parking lot is resealed recently. The staff is friendly, cheerful and very professional.

This place was able to get me in last minute, on a Sunday, to have my cat checked out for some GI issues he has been having for a couple days. They were quick, and very kind, as I was in panic mode after a 30 min drive with a crying cat. Hopefully our boy is on the mend. But to have a clinic open on weekends for emergency situations is amazing. Especially if you don’t necessarily need a Vet Hospital . Thank you to the team there ?
