We had a great overall experience and I absolutely would come back. In the spirit of your own open honesty and sense of humor I will share the details of the experience because we had some bumps. These bumps obviously should not reflect poorly on the 5 starts above! So, I read the website very carefully and closely, all the waivers, all the fine print. As someone in a customer service industry, respect. The website made me laugh. I enjoyed it. I printed the waivers in advance of our trip to Colorado--- yes, you could make a commercial about me not turning into my Mom for Geico. There were two pages. Fantastic experience that exceeded my expectations! Hadn't ridden a horse in 20+ years but it didn't matter. My horse, Walnut, was a love and very easy to ride for 2 hours, even with her opportunistic snacking every time we paused. Our guide Pedro was friendly and so helpful! We had a short bit of rain on our ride right towards the end but they are prepared with rain ponchos on each saddle, and the rain added to the wilderness feel so it wasn't an issue at all. The owner was very gracious and gave us a ride from and back to Vail VTC. It's a small operation so be patient with the timing if it flexes slightly. We had a great experience with Vail Stables! They were kind and proficient, and the trail ride itself was truly magical. The views at the top of the mountain (and a special photo opportunity for everyone) were spectacular. We had a young child and older person in our group and everyone was made to feel at ease. Highly recommend!!
