“My 18 month old St Bernard has always been sweet, but full of energy and too big for me to handle! He would jump and lunge and bark at strangers, dogs, and loud noises. I had tried some training classes when he was younger, but other than a non-distracted sit, we really struggled. He keeps getting bigger (and will continue to grow for awhile), and he had even knocked me over on a walk before we found Black Paw.Bernadette and the whole team at Black Paw not only helped my goofy guy learn his basics and get socialized around new things (including people and dogs), they also helped me find the right tools to manage a dog of his size and the right way to communicate with him. They worked to build up my confidence just as much as my dog’s.Since graduating, we’ve been so happy together! Our walks are long and incident free. He looks to me when he gets nervous or scared, instead of jumping, barking, or trying to run. I didn’t know what to expect when we did the training at Black Paw (and to be honest I was a little skeptical that anything could really change). But it DID change. “It’s hard to articulate how grateful I am for Flash and for Ali! I rescued a 2yr old husky mix over the summer and brought her to flash for the 3-week training program a few weeks after bringing her home. My dog (Phoebe) was struggling w/ overall anxiety, severe separation anxiety, and on-leash dog reactivity. Flash helped her so much — but also helped ME so much. I feel so equipped to give her the structure and guidance she needs to be happy — which has helped each of her behavioral struggles get so much better week over week and month over month. Having the follow up training and support has also been beyond helpful — when something new pops up, Ali has helped me resolve it in minutes. I would recommend flash to absolutely anyone — your dog doesn’t need to be “struggling” for it to be worth it. Being able to communicate with your dog with an e-collar and the commands they train is a game changer that would help just about anyone build a deeper and healthier relationship with their dog!“

“My 9 month old German Shepherd was experiencing pretty extreme discomfort in his right leg that had gotten worse on a Friday night. Our normal vet is closed on Saturdays, but I called several other vet clinics who were rude and happy to turn us away. From the first call to Arrowhead the staff was friendly and made arrangements for us to get an appointment the same day, and actually asked me what was wrong with my dog. Dr Griffin could not have been kinder and diagnosed my pup without needing to do x-rays or any other extreme measures. Everyone was kind and helpful, the clinic was clean, and they are reasonably priced. I’d highly recommend if you need a vet to get your sick or injured animal looked at!!“

“Gigi & Co us a great place in Lafayette, Colorado for any of your pet's needs. They have a great selection of natural foods from raw to high end kibble, and Angela is a great resource to help you pick the best food for your furry friend on the budget that you have. Their prices are also great and competitive with Amazon. In a lot of cases prices are cheaper than Amazon. Angela is super knowledgable about food and understanding your pet's needs. I was having a hard time with my puppy and she recommended the perfect toys and treats to help keep her entertained and to allow us to have fun together in a way where I wasn't the human chew toy. This is another great part about shopping here is you get first hand recommendations. They also have some great training classes. My puppy loves going to Puppy Kindergarten class and the classes have helped her a lot with puppy socialization. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for some recommendations for food, treats, toys, and training.“

“I love Dr. Vale she is super friendly and super nice I have known her for a very long time she help me get lovey and we got her trained for my seizures Dr. Vale is amazing person and I love gunbarrel veterinary and hospital people are so friendly and good customer service I would never recommend people going to Boulder Emergency pet clinic if your pet is having emergency I would go somewhere else because they don't do go customer service but gunbarrel veterinary and hospital do the best care ever I've known I love the people at gunbarrel veterinary and hospital I've known them for several years because I work at Kingsoopers gunbarrel and they're all my friends I am so sad I lost snicker doodle Dandy I really miss him I'm heartbroken because he was my seizure dog but at least I have lovey I want to thank Dr Vail for being such a nice person and being my friend when I needed her right after snicker died I don't know what I would've done without Dr. Val I love you Dr. Val you're amazing person I've ever known thank you so much for being there for me now“

His guidance to give chicken wing tips to my cat cleared up a lifetime of dental issues and put and end to painful and costly dental cleanings and extractions. “I can't say enough great things about Donnie at the Denver Dog Whisperer. What a difference! My dog wasn't a bad dog but he was disrespectful and domineering. Donni explained the psychology behind what was happening and gave me tons of tools to right the situation. She also was wonderful about answering my follow up questions with an additional phone conversation so I was able to feel confident about the actions I was taking. My disrespectful dog is now obedient, respectful and happy! Donni, I can't thank you enough!“

“The reviews were right! This is a great place to take your pup for daycare! We take Dipper here at least twice a week and I can tell he has a great time because of all the hilarious photos that are uploaded to his report card. Gold star to the person who took the .5 picture of his nose up close- we were dying laughing that day!Although Dipper hasn't attended a special event yet, I think it's great that there are special events scattered throughout the months for the pups- at an extra cost, but I think it's worth it for the day! We even try to get Dipper a bath service once a month- they do it all here!This place would be PERFECT if there were live cameras just to check-in. I hope they decide to add this feature soon.Thanks again for taking care of our guy!“

“What a wild ride it has been for the last few years! We went to a vet clinic and saw three of their vets who could not correctly diagnose lung cancer in a dog that lost his leg to cancer and had a cough? So, we chose The fancy five star google rated Animal Oasis only to get kicked out when we reported not being happy that they missed a lump on my youngest. Finally we came across, Dr. Chad Stewart he did an amazing job and even though they are far to close to another dog trainer we are glad we found him. If your dog is a little on the wild side go see Dr Stewart.“

I trust them with my doggies. I have always found the groomers and staff to go above and beyond with their professionalism and friendliness. Way better than any private groomer we have ever had! I will continue to bring my dogs here for the best service in Boulder.“

“Loved loved loved this place. The Dr and the staff are amazing. And it was not only me that loved it but my dog Horus thought it was pretty Great also. They a.made over him and he felt like a king!! Horus was a little under the weather and I got right in and had Horus taken care of. There was not rushing and they didn't make you feel like you needed to hurry up and get it all out before they walked out the door. And believe you me, I have been to alot of Vets in this town and this was nothing like what I have experienced before.
