"On," the specialist, came out to give me an estimate. Unfortunately, the company could not help me because my roof has what is characterized as a very steep pitch. Only certain roofers with specialized equipment will work on these roofs (for liability reasons). I had also heard this from a few other roofers whom I contacted. But what made me want to give this company 5 stars was that On still came in and inspected the leak and, in contrast to the last roofer, diagnosed the problem and told me it was a very easy fix involving just the flashings around my chimney. I always considered roofing projects as a bit of a minefield. Laymen like myself really have to self-educate to ensure we're getting the appropriate roof treatment at a fair price. After a ton of research, I selected AAA Expert and their project manager, On, exceeded my expectations. Our home is a mid-century modern, architect-designed with a flat roof of about 4,000 square feet. After a careful inspection of the roof conditions as well as the considerable number of roof intrusions from phone lines, HVAC ducting, skylights, etc., we decided to have a Tropical coating applied. Had a small leak during the heavy rains. On (the technician) looked at the area and said all it needed was to reseal a section and can hold off a few more years replacing the torchdown area of the roof. He did the job right away. Great service, very punctual and call ahead from the office regarding arrival time. Will definitely use them when it comes time to replace the roof.
