“I made an appointment with Henry after researching curly hair specialists in Walnut Creek. I have been embracing my natural curls for a couple of years now, but had not found someone who was able to cut my hair the way I wanted, or could replicate pictures of hairstyles I provided. Henry's reviews were excellent so I decided to make an appointment, and I'm so happy I did. He listened to what I said I wanted, and understood immediately because he had the same vision for my hair. He cuts curly hair dry, doesn't cut straight lines, instead works with each curl to truly sculpt the structure of my hair. I'm passing along his info to a couple of other curly girls I know who haven't had much success in finding someone who truly understands the art of cutting curls. It IS an art. And...as a bonus, he is a really nice and personable guy. I have an appointment next week for root color touch-up, and will update my review when that's done. But as of today, I am one happy curly girl.“
“I moved to the Bay Area and struggled to find a good stylist who could repeatedly cut my hair how I like it. I found Monica about 2 years ago and have not gone to another stylist since. She does a great job, provides good conversation, and the hot towel hair wash/scalp massage at the end is amazing. I even had a friend come from out of town who needed a last-minute haircut. From the minute I booked, I knew I made an excellent choice. She reached out prior to my appointment and had a phone assessment so she could know more about what I wanted and needed. I sent her a picture of my hair before so she could have a better idea and to allow her to allot enough time for my hair needs.
