It was wonderful having a medical team that truly cared about not only about my physical well being, but even spiritually... in a manner of speaking!
The road at Mact has indeed gotten a little bumpier in recent history. Steve retired, and continues to be sorely missed! His replacement has left, as with a handful of other providers recently. This has obviously left Mact in a real bind. There's a serious shortage of medical professionals throughout the country, and Mact is facing some heavy competition. Our physical location can be a handicap, not exactly suitable to many.
My hope regarding Mact's personnel shortage is that it soon will pass. Throughout my years at Mact, I have been treated with kindness, and understanding by nearly every member of staff. I see my new NP in a couple weeks. I feel postively confident... my health care needs will be in very capable hands. Hang in there!“
