Absolutely do not go here! This place doesn't deserve even one star, they deserve to be investigated and possibly put out of business. They will try to rip you off blind and do nothing at all to help you. I went to see Dr. Dobalian for a simple physical and asked for a refill of a medication that I've been prescribed off and on for the last 49 years, and I ended up receiving a bill for almost $700! My insurance fully covers physical exams, so I shouldn't even have a copay. A $40 medication turns into a $700 bill because this young, extremely experienced doctor decided to fabricate our visit and claim that she diagnosed me even though she clearly doesn't even know the first thing about my condition. After I later complained, a man from the billing department attempted to swindle me further by asking for my debit card over the phone, refusing documentation, while trying to cut a deal of $249! The place is shady and this doctor has refused to correct her mistake. I suspect that she wants to save face mainly because I am a multiracial woman of some African heritage. Of course she will not stoop to admit her mistake in the face of a 'woman of color.' Pathetic and sad! I rue the day I walked into that two-bit office. At least she gave me my refill - but it wasn't worth $700! I could've bought the same thing from Mexico on-line for about $30 and spared myself the stress of dealing with charlatans in a bureaucracy. So much for fully covered medical insurance! At the end of the day, it depends on whether you go to decent, moral providers or cheaters and hacks who just want to make a buck no matter what. This is a circle of hell even Dante could've have envisioned. Shame on these people.
How is that possible? Is there such unsanitary conditions in the room where I was checked by a gynecologist? Isn't it disinfected here regularly? Very dirty! You get check up in this room!! Stop this planet, I'll get off
I've been coming here for over 5 years and I've always given them the benefit of the doubt but today was the last straw. I was put off of work for an injury and it's been email after email back and forth trying to get someone to respond to fill out my disability form. After a week I was told they could possibly tell me no to filling it out after incorrectly telling me I would need another appointment. This is always an issue, administration not completing a task and telling me it requires an appointment. Getting this office to do ANYTHING takes weeks. No urgency and I'm always given incorrect information on what needs to happen. Staff always act as if they are doing me a favor by taking me or "squeezing" me in when health issues arise and I need a appointment. Mind you squeezing me in means taking me in two weeks later. My current Dr. Is Dr. Yen who is very quick and often dismissive, is always booked out months in advance so when things come up I'm always told by staff that and often times I just let health issues go until I'm actually able to see him, which is ridiculous considering ucla's reputation and costs. If you are able to, I suggest utilizing ucla facilities in other area because my issues always stem from this office.
