This locally owned salon provides upscale services with a relaxed vibe. Jeff Matson, a co-owner with his wife Nada, has been cutting my hair longer than I can remember, predating even his own salon. His ability to give me a high-quality, consistent haircut is something I’ve had trouble finding elsewhere. Combining his skills as both stylist and a barber (two different skills is mastered) has always given me the results I’m looking for whether it’s longer, shorter, or somewhere in between. I love this hair salon! Especially my stylist Victoria who has been doing my hair since I moved to Santa Barbara 14years ago (Gasp!) She is kind, knowledgeable, skilled and cares about her clients. I’m always happy with her service and have enjoyed our conversations over the years. I can’t recommend her enough ?

I've never had so many compliments on a hair cut. First time with Jeff Matson. Their place of business was clean and comfortable. Will be scheduling my next cut with Matson & Co.
