“I would give 5 stars, however one issue happened with a very loud family having a visitation reception at the same time as our visitation. This party-like atmosphere was ver offensive being held at the same time as our private visitation. Fairhaven could have handled this much better. One employee there thought there was nothing wrong with this, and got defensive when we complained. No problem, just schedule the reception at a different time“

“This cemetery is very peaceful. The cleaners, guards and office staff are all respectful. The closing guards are very considerate and if you’re still there at closing time, they gently remind that it’s closing time, without rushing or being harsh. (I read some old reviews about mean guards and have been coming for almost two years without experiencing anyone being mean).

The grounds are well-taken care of. There are cleanup days when flowers and everything get removed, and they offer a schedule for these days. Most families come the day before to pick up the things they don’t want removed and return them the day after. As long as follow the schedule then you’ll know when to avoid bringing fresh flowers. (Many cemeteries have cleanup schedules like this).
