From what I picked up these guys are straightforward and do good work. Maybe not the absolutely lowest possible price but I think it's competitive and a good value more important that they are trustworthy and do good work. I appreciated that Kevin went out of his way to save me a little money by doing some extra effort he didn't have to do. Recommended.

I was told by a different auto shop that my brakes need replacement immediately. I brought my car into H&H and he took a look that day including taking it for a drive. He gave me good quotes for the work if I wanted to do it (cheaper than the 3 other quotes I got from other shops), but given that I plan on trading this car in in 2-3 months, he also gave me his honest opinion that I'd be fine till then and needn't spend the money. He didn't charge me anything! I'll definitely be coming back to him for future brake jobs--I'm impressed with his candor!

I had to take a trip over the Sierras with my 2003 Chevy Tahoe pulling a trailer. I thought I'd better have my brakes checked before I left. Based on the reviews here if H&H Brake Service, I gave Kevin a call. He told me to bring the vehicle right over so he could take a look. He said my front brakes were fine (the truck has 90K miles on it), but he took a good look at the rear brakes and found that they were shot...pads, rotors and pistons. I told him I had to hit the road the next day, and he said he could get it done by 4:00pm. And the cost was very reasonable. Kevin is really a stand-up guy. I recommend him hiighly.
