My path to Jim Tuck started at the LA Courthouse as I was leaving the jury room and passed a lovely woman with a fantastic hair cut. I have curly hair and have never had a good cut. But, her hair was curly and so pretty so I had to stop her and ask who her stylist was. She gave me Jim's name and number. To say that moment was life changing would not be an understatement. I have had so many stylists give me a cut that looks good blown straight but that fell flat if I let it dry curly. Jim KNOWS curly hair...he knew exactly the cut I needed and, even more importantly, showed me how to embrace and handle my hair at home. I used to go to this place and NEVER got a bad haircut or service. It is the style of old salons where they took their time and gave you the style or service you came in for. I am glad it is still there and I'll make an appointment.

Where else would you go in Pasadena than a tried and true, longest standing establishment de coiffures et coiffeuse? Frits and Jim are Pasadena institutions in themselves having done generations of families hair for every occasion. Their barberess, Adrienne is not only vivacious but extremely talented, as all the stylists here are. Worth every penny (and it's not even overpriced!)
