Love this nail spot. It’s super small, but the staff are very talented, the owner is incredibly professional and I love how he makes everyone wash their hands before getting serviced. They even save the nail color, length, and design to your profile so you know exactly what you’ve gotten in the past. I get gel x and I’m always sooo happy with my results. Would highly recommend to anyone

Been in Oakland since March and finding salons or nail spas in a new city is tough. I live near a lot of nail salons so one day while strolling I decided on a pedicure.I stopped by 3 places before finding The Corner Bar. It was the Goldilocks search for the just right salon. I passed on the others because of the lack of staff, cleanliness of the place and cost. I called The Corner Bar instead.The person on the line was so kind. Made an appointment for that day. Loved it. The reception was also new from Chicago and we chatted while the technician took care off my delicate toes and ragged heels. Ive been to a couple of nail bars in the area- but this has been my best experience thus far. They have massage chairs and the staff is very professional.Make sure you book an appointment.They do ask you all the details before because they have the tips precut for different sizes and shapes. The service was great. They introduced me to gel x nails- which apparently is easier on the nails but broke too soon. But they have a 3 day policy where they’ll re-do your nails if something goes wrong .So, the second time I went in- they took me in almost immediately and fixed it.I will be returning..
