I just recently moved to the Bay Area and was looking for my “forever” nail salon. I came to Saunders and James after having a manicure from another nail salon that went bad after three days (gel already peeling off). I walked into the salon and let’s just say the atmosphere is a complete vibe. Beautifully decorated with soft lighting. The music was giving 90s realness which was my absolute favorite era of music so I could have just sat there and enjoyed that aspect. Nice environment with attentive workers. They were super gentle with my nails and removing gel polish. Docked a star for how expensive it is however! You have to pay a fee for cleaning (2x if you do a mani pedi which I did) and each gel removal is $$ and each design is extra $$. I didn't have a bad experience, but the price is absurd
