Hunger Action Los Angeles works to end hunger and promote healthy eating through advocacy, direct service, and organizing. Some of their ongoing projects include the Market Match Program at different Farmers' Market locations. Calfresh participants get their food stamps benefits doubled up to $15 for fruits and vegetables. Another ongoing projects include Calfresh outreach were HALA is collaborating with LA County Department of Public Social Service on increasing Calfresh enrollment in LA County. HALA is always welcoming Volunteers. Get involve! :)
