My son and I have been getting our haircuts from Victor for the past 6.5 years. This shop is a very very special place and should be protected at all costs! Everyone here is a class act and a real authentic human being. I cannot express how much love I have for Victor, the crew, and this space. I was so happy when he told me he was opening his own shop and I’m so impressed with what was created! Elysian is treasure!

Fantastic atmosphere, makes you feel like you’re part of the family! My first time was amazing felt welcomed and respected. I would like to thank Victor & Whitney who cut my hair. They did an amazing job, and followed up on my ideas on how I wanted my hair cut. I know this might sound repetitive if you’re reading this since all the other reviews say this same thing but, they treated everyone equally and like family. I highly recommend this barbershop!!

Hands down, the best barbershop in LA. Every visit is a revisit to the diversity of our Los Angleles community. A hidden gem. Do not come here if you expect the norm. Every barber is highly qualified with clientele that remains consistent and loyal. Highly recommend Omar. A true talent. Going on 10 years with him, he is dialed in and someone who has an expert opinion based what's best for you, book him. Notwithstanding the artistry and expertise of the barbers here, this place holds true to "Whatever you hear at the barbershop stays at the barbershop". A place to just take a breath, escape and focus on yourself. Ok yeah, they will shoot the sh*t but not at your expense....read full review
