BEST EYE DOCTOR I was looking for an eye doctor as I have not seen one since we moved to Long Beach. I was basing my choice on location and reviews. Lakewood Optometry had some of the highest reviews and, as a bonus, it is only three minutes from my house. I am so glad that we went with this option because the service was exceptional. They were very patient and understanding with my fiancé and me, despite our constant reschedules due to our busy schedules. Once we arrived to our appointment. the service was exceptional. I absolutely love this optometrist. Dr. Kara Takeda has been suggesting I get Lasik for several years and I finally bit the bullet and did it through one of her highly recommended colleagues. She has always been very upfront and honest with me and when I need to make last-minute changes on my appointment she is always accommodating I absolutely love coming here I feel like more than just a patient when I leave her chair she recalls information from our last visit. 10 out of 10 would recommend she's the best!!!

Dr. Takeda and all those who work along side her are amazing! It was my first time there and they were so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. I got a retinal exam and eye exam to get lenses and both I was weirdly nervous about, but not once I got there! They make you feel comfortable, no matter the situation. Great experience and so glad I found my new optometrist! Strongly recommend to all who are looking for a 5 start optometrist! You won’t be disappointed!
