Went to Kempt for a completely new style. Met with the stylist that listened to my concerns and what I was looking for. I left it in her hands and she did an amazing job. I have a completely different look that accomplished all my needs and concerns. The facility was clean and the staff were courteous. I will definitely be coming back here again.

I got my boyfriend an appointment here to get his haircut for the first time today. We booked with Annie and she was a curly hair expert. Everyone in the salon was so kind and constantly offered us drinks and made sure we were satisfied during our time there. They gave my boyfriend a t shirt to change into so he wouldn't be itchy after the haircut which made the experience even more comfortable for him because of his sensitive skin. Every person I observed leaving the salon had a smile on their face and were sure to book another appointment with them again in the future, which says something important to me: this salon is next level. This place is awesome! The atmosphere and vibe of their Costa Mesa location was great. Super clean, gives you a shirt to change into, offers you a nice cold beer...what's not to like. Annie was my stylist and I'm writing this review after the third time she cut my hair. The first was definitely a feeling out process. My hair looked good when I styled it with product, which I usually do, but I didn't know how I felt about my hair when it wasn't styles.
