First time getting my haircut there and I was pleased. I was looking for a new barber in the area and found this shop. Shawn was professional, on-time (love the fact that the shop uses tech to schedule appointments), and my cut was clean and thorough. He was conversational and detailed.The place is chilled and clean. I like the Kaepernick picture that was hanging on the wall.The barbers like Shawn accept other forms of payment besides cash (love Black businesses that embrace tech and multiple ways to pay besides cash). After getting my haircut and goatee, I was really impressed.Looks like I found a new barber.
Just moved to LA and I'm glad I stumbled across this place, they only take appointments right now so I recommend call ahead of time but I went to Tim and he does a good job, you can tell he's a professional!
Love supporting local small businesses. Love supporting Black Women-owned businesses even more! I found this lil gem on Yelp, called and they were able to fit me in on the same day. Although a bit pricey for me, I was very pleased with the results. I usually pay about 1/2 the cost for my undercuts. Anyhoo, if you're looking for skilled, professional barbers and want to support local, Black businesses, CrownD Barber is the place to be. It's a safe, sanitary and serene vibe where social distancing is strictly enforced! It's a family atmosphere and they also have great taste in music.
