“I never imaged I'd be writing a review after a funeral, but I feel like this person needs to be recognized for the impact she has made. It started when we came to set up my Aunt's memory table and this sweet lovely girl, named Lisa came down and explained that we had full range to create the memorial table that we envisioned.
Her energy made my whole family feel so comfortable, in a very uncomfortable situation. We were so scared of what this process was going to be like and we were so pleasantly surprised by the amount of smiles and laughter Lisa brought out of us.
She was so quick to come up with extra things that would enhance my Aunt's service, like an entire playlist to be played during her service! She was so attentive and helpful, and I can tell it's because she genuinely cares.
Lisa has forever changed my outlook on the grief process and I am so incredibly grateful that our family was blessed with her.“

“I do not have loved ones buried here, but wanted to explore this cemetery as it was established in 1862. It's appeared well maintained and I did not notice any litter or trash strewn about as other reviews state. There are very large old trees and many benches in honor of those deceased located throughout so that you can rest and reflect. The older part of the cemetery with headstones dating back to the mid 1800s is located to the left as you enter. That part of the cemetery is well worth walking through and exploring the old family plots and veterans who lay there. The other part of the cemetery, which is newer is also quite lovely. What we immediately noticed was how colorful and personal the cemetery was. Yes, many of the headstones are decorated in colorful artificial flowers, but I found it quite beautiful as I turned the corner and saw all this lovely color amongst all the headstones. This is part of the culture of the families that visit. It appeared to be primarily families of Eastern European descent. There were quite a few people visiting and cleaning gravesites of loved ones. It was nice to see quite a few people visiting. This is not a large cemetery as it was established well over 100 years ago. I enjoy exploring cemeteries and find them to be peaceful places.“

“Affordable Cremation was recommended to me by Sutter Hospital per their funeral home list. I worked with Celeste and Mya and they were both extremely responsive and professional. The cremation process was done quickly, professionally, and they were genuine during my extreme time of grief. I was traveling with my loved one's remains and they made it simple and explained the process. Thank you Mya and Celeste, you two are gems. My first cremation experience with another company was devastating. This was completely different. They're very busy, but I never felt like I was being rushed or my loved one was just a number.“

“After searching for many cremation services in the Sacramento area, I decided to call Lowest Cost Cremation. I picked them from the ease of their website and straight forward approach of figuring out their cost. When I contacted them, I spoke to Matt. Within minutes I decided this was the company I wanted to deal with. Matt was knowledgeable, warm, friendly , caring and very helpful. Living in Centra l California, it was a simple transaction using DocuSign to sign authorization paperwork for the cremation without having to drive to Sacramento. Likewise, the payment of the cremation was a snap using their online payment service. In all I think it took about a twenty minutes phone call and then maybe 10 minutes to sign and pay for the cremation. I want to thank both Matt and Chelsea for helping us and helping relieve the stress of the cremation process for our family in their time of need. “I'm very disappointed how the year clean up was conducted this 2024 so little advertisement was done due to that I was not able to remove my mother belongs on time, and when I contact the office they said that I threw them away my suggestion for next year clean up if you need to advertise with more time ahead so people can take that time to remove flowers and a special religion momentum so it will not be upsetting time when they return to the cemetery to see their family.“

They are outstanding assets to Eastlawn Memorial's team. There was a lot of terminology that was not familiar to me but Adrian and Raul were very patient with me and always asked if I had any questions before they continued on. Adrian and Raul made the whole process as painless as can be expected considering the circumstances. I highly recommend Eastlawn Mortuary at Greenback for your family member's final resting place. The grounds are well manicured, there are nice shade trees, and a stunning monument to our Armed Service Members, and an eternal flame! I think there are options for EVERY type of service at Eastlawn! They are extremely accommodating.
