We were looking for a new spot for my son as we have a hard time finding someone who knows how to cut curly hair. We scheduled an appointment with Brandon and were able to get in the next day. Brandon is very friendly and made my son feel very comfortable. He took his time to understand what it was my son was looking for and even gave suggestions as well. He did a great job and my son is very happy with his cut but when I received the bill I was shocked, $65 to use only clippers to trim up the sides and shape his hair is extreme. I hadn't cut my hair in almost a year and decided it was enough - it was time to get a haircut. I looked up reviews on Google and found Sound Cuts with everyone raving about Mario. I went in their looking like Harry from Harry and the Hendersons and left looking like Christian Bale. I'm not exaggerating when I say that he gave me the best haircut I've ever had - Mario is a professional. He's an awesome guy to talk to as well. As I left, i was booking my next appointment with Mario immediately.

I live in Boston and have had the same barber for the past 10 years but I am visiting family in San Diego for an extended stay and needed to find someone I trusted here. Mario is it, no need to keep looking! He was highly recommended by both my friend and my nephew and somehow still exceeded my expectations. Great guy doing great work, will definitely be back (many times).
