OASIS Senior Citizen Center

I am a member of the Board of Directors at the OASIS Senior Center and chair the Greeters at the Front Desk. I have twenty regular Greeters and 20 substitutes. We work five days a week on three and a half hour shifts. OASIS is the most wonderful place to meet friends, enjoy all the monthly meetings, and all the different things that are available. We have a travel office that takes fabulous trips, day trips, weekend trips and overseas trips. Bridge groups, other games and a fitness center are to be enjoyed. This place has everything! Tons of classes, gift shop, library, garden plots in back, nice gym with windows to outside, events and lunches daily for Seniors. Anyone over 50 is welcome. This is definitely is not your grandmas Senior Center! There is tons of energy and great people who offer so much to the community. They also do Meals on Wheels and transportation locally. You would have to say "if this is what being retired is all about" then I am in the most incredible place there is with the beach minutes away and fabulous restaurants around the corner. Pure Bliss!
