I won a gift certificate 5 years ago and it lead me to the best hairstylist I have ever had. Corey from elements salon really knows hair. There are so many great things about her work and her, I would never be able to put it all in this review. I have lived in NYC and paid $300 for a cut and color from very prestiges salons and was never as satisfied as I was with Corey. She listens to your wants and what you are looking for. She offers suggestions that really work with your style. She has even taken the time to show me how to style my hair when she is not around. My cuts always grow out so nicely. I've always enjoyed supporting smaller, "off-the-beaten-path" establishments, and Elements Salon fits the bill perfectly. Housed in a small nook in a short walkway off Carlsbad Village Drive, Elements offers a warm, at-home like vibe not found in larger, busier salons. Visiting their website this past Tuesday, I submitted an appointment request for the following day and received a prompt response, asking if I could come in at 10 AM on Wednesday. Of course I replied "Yes," and was greeted that morning by Nicole. I have very long hair and wanted to have most of it cut off to about shoulder length. Keeley did the most amazing job. She was so kind and understood just what I wanted. I asked for some extra layers so it would be kind of styled when I wore it up and it came out wonderful. I don't think I've ever been happier with a haircut. Will definitely be back.
