I had a pleasant time at Jin's but not at 20/20 Vision. I had an eye exam appointment scheduled and I showed up on time only to be ghosted. There wasn't a 20/20 rep around at all to check me in, and mind you, I even waited an extra 15 minutes before I left the store out of frustration. The least they could have done was let me know they'd be late or needed to reschedule. But nope! Calling 20/20's number led to a cycle of automated recordings and eventually a prompt to leave your number for an actual human to talk to you later. By the time they called back, I had already scheduled an eye exam at LensCrafters downstairs. The kicker: the 20/20 rep that called me said my appointment was canceled, but I never received any notification of the sort. At least tell me what's up so I'm not wasting my time. I am really gobsmacked at how infuriating of an experience this all was.
Came back to lower my rating from a 2 star to 1 star.I went to my regular/usual optometrist today and I was told the previous prescription (which was done by 20/20 Vision) was overcorrected for no reason. 20/20 Vision said my left eye was -3.75. Today my optometrist said I should've been a -3.00. WHAT A DIFFERENCEThis is why you DON'T do telehealth!
My family and I have been coming to Jins so many times to get glasses as their offerings are affordable. Recently, my wife made an online appointment for an eye exam at the Santa Anita location. As it turns out, the eye care service is provided by 20/20 Vision, not Jins. Sadly, she couldn't make it so she called the store to change for me to go instead. They accepted the adjustment. However, an hour later, a guy working here named Brian frantically called my wife back to cancel the appointment, citing that she "double booked" it. It's ridiculous as she only booked once. The guy was crazily rude and kept saying us double book while offering no explaination of how his office had accepted the name change earlier. I called the office myself trying to clarify but that guy didn't even take the call and the other employee was confused too. I demanded to talk to the manager or that buffoon Brian but to no avail. I'm sure this is my last time doing business with them.
