This is my experience w women's cut only. Place is very traditional, with no frills and straight to the point. Came here because my hubby gets his haircut here sometimes. I was short on time and desperately needed a trimThe reason for the 3-4 star is more on preference. I like to get my haircut dry cut so I can actually see what it looks like without the blow-dry. Likely will not go back for a women's cut.

Boyish (the owner and a stylist) is awesome. He set up an appointment for me the next day. He is a great listener and asks good questions to find out what his customers want for a haircut. He is patient and very skillful, too. He used mostly scissors and comb to create a soft touch so that my hair looks feminine. I am so happy to finally have found a stylist who understands and delivers what I want. His staff is pretty friendly, too. Steve watches my hair and makes me feel very comfortable. They have been around for 39 years. One of those hair salons that make you feel that you belong to a community. Highly recommend.

I went to Biyoshi a couple of days ago for a perm and everyone was so amazing! Sharon was the sweetest person ever and did my hair so good!! I highly recommend this place, I'm definitely going to keep coming back.
