Came here to get my eyebrows (which was the best I’ve gotten done) + upper lip waxed and when I arrived, someone turned off the wax machine so I had to wait 15 mins for it to heat up which was not a problem at all. They gave me 15% off the cost fee along with a bunch of candies.“

“I recently had a gentleman’s pedicure from Corina. Like many guys, I had never thought seriously about getting one before, as "pedicures were something women got.” However, my partner had such a positive experience with her own pedicure and really encouraged me to try one. So I did. And I’ve now come to realize there is nothing manly or heroic about jagged toenails and rough cracked skin on your heels that wear holes in your socks. Corina did a masterful job thinning and evening out my nails and smoothing off the rough skin on my heels and balls of my feet. It felt really good and, frankly, my feet haven’t looked this good since I was about five years old. Corina is also a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about foot problems and the importance of looking after them. It was a fun, enlightening experience, and I’ll be back.“

“I have been here a few times now :)(Pros)* Knowledgeable staff and experienced stylists* Hair goals met for the most part and happy with outcome* Beautiful setting / nice view of oak Bay Ave while waiting* Quality hair product lines* Good customer service*Getting to sign up as a hair model and only had to pay for the product used and I choose to tip :) ( very nice for a mom on a budget)*Offers of tea and water ect* Check-ins to ensure my comfort level during the service( Cons)*Bring a blanket if your going for a long sitting , I was freezing both times I went to the oak Bay location/ I was brought a blanket by the very attentive staff when I mentioned I was cold , and hot tea which helped* Hair appointment went WAY overtime each time despite me booking in advance and explaining that I had childcare arranged that I couldn't really go overtime* Stylist 30 mins late second time I went , so appointment was even longer past pre-booked 3 hr slot time I had arranged child care for .First photo on left is before and on right is after my recent hair cut and color :)***In response to the salons reply ***I understand hair model appointments can run a lil long but mine was an hour and a half longer than the time Booked and arranged for , just made it a huge challenge for childcare wise .I also made sure to let the scheduler and the stylist know in advance that I had time constraints and had to arrange childcare for my special needs son.The chilly salon wasn't that big of a deal but like to let others know what to expect .Because I was there from 9:30am until 2:30 pmSo five hours total it was a LONG time to be cold for .Over all I am happy with my service and made sure to tip well since I appreciated my stylists time .I would still go back and Mabe just bring a blanket from home and be extra sure to communicate my time constraints extra well :)?“
