Whenever we are in town, my husband and son see Cleo for cuts. He does an awesome job. Today we touched down in Birmingham, at about 8:15pm. We planned to drop by the shop early the next morning since appointments are not needed, but my dad told us he just passed the shop and it appeared to be open. My husband gave Cleo a call to verify if he was still open. He actually closed at 7pm but was finishing up his last customers. We told him that we had just arrived in town and had planned to come in the morning. He stated he would be on vacation for the next 4 days. Oh no, This would put us in a bad spot because we leave in 2 days. After deep thought, Cleo told us to come by. He would make my husband and son his last customers for the night. We finally finished at 10pm. We are very grateful Cleo put his customers first and allowed us to come in after he had been closed for over an hour already. This is true customer service. I was afraid that he would do a sloppy job because it was so late at night, he was already closed and maybe would have rushed on my family's cuts....but no. I've never seen their line so straight. He took his time. He uses a razor to line up and he used scissors to trim my husband's beard. We had a truly unique situation and Cleo took care of us. We recommend giving his barber shop a try. A visit here is a must for my family whenever we are in the Birmingham/Bessemer area!
