My daughter got married this past weekend at Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa, and I was looking for a hair salon in the area to take care of several of us for two of the events. Stephanie was so helpful in getting all the appointments set up in advance. I needed an updo for Friday night, for a Korean Paebeck ceremony, and Stephanie did a beautiful job on my hair! Everyone absolutely loved it! My guests were thrilled with her and her entire team for both hair and makeup. I wish her salon was closer to where I live in NJ because I would go to her exclusively!!!
I had a great experience with Mid Hudson Container. I needed a 10 yard dumpster for the weekend to do my spring cleaning and they were able to accommodate me right away. The price is a little less compared to the other companies I contacted btw.

Rick and his crew did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. They were very knowledgeable and meticulous with detail. They take a lot of pride in their work. Their pricing was reasonable. The finished product was beautiful! We’d strongly recommend.
This is a very weather oriented business. Mike kept me informed if there was a chance of any schedule changes. He made excellent suggestions and stated work that was not needed or recommended. I would recommend this business to anyone who requires this type of service.Services: Sealcoating
We had a wonderful stay at the Buttermilk Falls Inn + Spa. The fireplace in our original room was not working and needed to be repaired so we were placed in the Grand Laurel Master Suite (bridal suite). The room is HUGE and the shower has a built in steam room! The rooms are pricey (at the time of this writing - the Grand Laurel Master Suite was priced at anywhere between $435 and $775 per night). We ended up using our Hotels.com reward towards our room (it was before Hotels.com nerfed their rewards program - so we were able to apply a sizable amount towards the room to bring down the cost). Breakfast was delicious, there was fruit, muffins, bagels, and you can choose an entree (scrambled eggs, frittata, or waffle). The menu rotates based on what's in season. It's nice walking around the Buttermilk Falls grounds, there are donkeys, chickens, ducks, and peacocks. The ducks can be a little aggressive and hiss at you, best not to walk directly towards the ducks or make direct eye contact with the Alpha Duck (you'll know the Alpha Duck because he's the one that wants to fight you). There's also cool graveyard on the grounds that's not marked on the map. Some of the graves are from the Revolutionary War, so just keep in mind a lot of the stuff on the property is old. Yes, from what other reviewers have said, it could benefit from some touch up paint and new carpeting in the stairwell area, but overall this inn has great history and character. It was a quiet and peaceful getaway for us, as long as you're managing your expectations (it's not the Ritz Carlton) you will enjoy your stay here.
