“Over the last several months, I've been seeing Brian for my persistent neck pain and have been pleasantly surprised with the results. First off, Brian is a wonderful person with an upbeat, friendly, and welcoming personality. Every appointment is enjoyable and stress-free. Brian is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive when listening to my concerns and thoughtful when addressing them or determining my treatment plan for that appointment. Sometimes he would recommend gua sha massage or cupping depending on what he felt my body needed. After just a few sessions, I noticed a significant improvement in my neck pain. The treatment was painless, and the results were long-lasting. Overall, I had a great experience with this acupuncture clinic and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a safe and effective way to manage their pain.“

“I'd like to address the other comments about closing the doors on time. When people come late it is very disturbing. Especially if everyone has picked spots and now have to squeeze you into spots to make room for people who are late. It's annoying and disturbs the vibe. Give yourself at least a 15 minutes to get there. This is a sign of an authentic yoga studio. Closing the doors is a good learning lesson. Charmaine our teacher was so helpful and got me signed up for the discounted intro week. Her Gentle Flow had great instructions on how to get into poses safely and was great at correcting postures and alignment. That's the sign of a great teacher. It was a very great workout.“

SoulPlay Yoga Yoga

“As a beginning yoga practitioner, I've left Soulplay Yoga feeling cheered and invigorated. I began classes at Soulplay because other friends of mine in the Culver City area recommended it highly. So I started, with a little trepidation because I am rather out of shape. The teachers of Soulplay Yoga have been nothing but welcoming and supportive. When they offer corrections, their guidance is gentle. Every teacher has emphasized safety and "listening to one's body," which is great. Classes with a "mindfulness" focus help to soothe the constant hustle-bustle of my mind, so I leave with a calmer mind as well as a more limber frame. The space of Soulplay is very calming, with lots of natural light, a big mirror, and a handsome mandala painted on the wall. The other walls are a blank grayish-white, which is great for focusing on the moment. The teachers are practiced at creating a space for calm mindfulness, coupled with physical exertion. I look forward to stretching my abilities (literally!) and working my way up to more challenging classes. There's a Candlelight Yin Heated Yoga that I'm kind of "working towards," because that sounds dreamy!“

Aeriform Arts Yoga

“Here's an overdue review for Aeriform. I trained regularly with Onyx, Lauren, Will, and Kris when I lived in LA for a year and absolutely loved their classes, which included pole, hoop, and stretch. The manager, Lea, is very accommodating and genuinely supportive of the community, unlike some other pole studios in LA that view clients as mere cash flow. While it's a small studio and the poles are a bit on the older side, the classes aren't overly crowded, so you'll enjoy a semi-private training experience in some of them.“
